All Hardneck Garlic is grown at our small, local farm in Freedom, Maine. Our garlic seed is Non-GMO and sustainably grown using only OMRI-Allowed, NOP-Approved and all natural amendments including farmyard manure, fish-based compost and emulsions, langbeinite, kelp meal, wood chips and old hay for mulch. We never using any herbicides, insecticides, pesticides or chemical spray on any of our fields. Suitable for hardiness zone: 4-9. The Sicilian Farmer is a Licensed Producer and Dealer of Nursery Stock in the State of Maine. All of our Seed Garlic varieties have tested negative for garlic bloat nematode, white mold, and botrytis and are visually inspected annually by the Division of Animal and Plant Health in compliance with National Plant Board standards of pest freedom.

Pickup time must be selected during checkout, or your order may be subject to cancellation (contact us if you need to reschedule your pickup).

Pickup Hours Available: Mon/Wed/Fri: 4pm to 7pm and Tue/Thur: 9am to 12pm (At Least Two Day Notice Required).

Limited stock is also available for walk-in customers (cash only) during standard business hours.

Garlic seed ships with a 2″ minimum bulb size. Bulbs have been dried, trimmed, cleaned and cured. The bulbs are placed in a paper bag and delivered in a boxes up to 10 LBS increments. Garlic seed cannot be shipped to GA, NV as well as certain counties in ID and WA. Other restrictions may apply. We reserve the right to cancel and refund your order due to any unforeseen shipping restrictions or stock-outs.
